grappling hook breaks after 250 uses

enchanted iron grappling hook. repair halfway through durability (mending/repair tool kit). grappling hook breaks randomly before reaching 0 durability, which I suspect to be linked to the prior 250 durability it was meant to have. I haven’t tested it with an unenchanted grappling hook yet, it might also affect that took.
